Reinstating a WHS Unit with WHS professionals after the former leadership (2012-2016) deleted the WHS Unit.

Working in partnership with Department of Communities and Justice to create a position of Welfare Officer to support the mental health of all workers in Justice

Assisted delegates negotiate flexible work and safe workplaces during the COVID-19 shutdowns

Utilised WHS to ensure job cuts during restructures were minimised

Reintroduced Work Health and Safety training including Mental health Care and

Contributed to Parliamentary Inquiries reviewing workplace bullying in agencies

Contributed to multiple bushfire Inquiries including the Royal Commission into the bushfires highlighting safety consequences of poor systems, poor staffing and equipment.

Contributed to the SafeWork Guidelines on Sexual Harassment, the ACTU sexual harassment survey, and the CPSU submission to the Human Rights Commission on Sexual harassment
